I was going to make this next week- but I couldn't resist!
I popped popcorn in a little bit of vegetable oil.
First I drizzled Maple Grove Farms Pure Maple Syrup over the popcorn & mixed it well.. I added a second drizzle & mixed it well.
It tasted like maple, but I wasn't too thrilled.
I added a touch of salt. WOW did the maple flavor REALLY come out. I thought it would make a small difference, but this made a huge one!
I ended up eating it as is... but as I was munching I realized a drizzle of butter would make it better. Heck, bacon pieces in it would be great... Obviously my mind was thinking breakfast.
It was a good snack, it ended up getting pretty sticky towards the end... So far, I'm going to stick with my green tabasco sauce popcorn... That one is the front runner!
